गांधीनगर. मुख्यमंत्री भूपेन्द्र पटेल ने धोलेरा स्पेशल इन्वेस्टमेन्ट रिजन और निर्माणाधीन प्रोजेक्ट्स का निरीक्षण करने के बाद कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने धोलेरा को वैश्विकस्तर पर स्मार्ट सिटी बनाने को जो सपना देखा था वह अब साकार हो रहा है। प्रधानमंत्री ने देश में 100 स्मार्ट शहरों के विकास के लिए केन्द्र सरकार की योजना में गुजरात के धोलेरा सर और गिफ्ट को भी शामिल किया है। उन्होंने कहा कि धोलेरा को औद्योगिक सिटी के तौर पर विकसित करने के साथ-साथ ग्रीन फिल्ड इंडस्ट्रीयल सिटी बनाने की भी प्रक्रिया सरकार ने प्रारंभ की है। 920 वर्ग किलोमीटर में विकसित होने वाला धोलेरा सर सबसे बड़ा ग्रीन फिल्ड इंडस्ट्रीयल इन्वेस्टमेन्ट रिजन एंड इंडियन ग्रीन बिल्डिंग काउंसिल के द्वारा प्लेटिनम रेटिंग हासिल करने वाला भारत का पहला ग्रीनफिल्ड इंडस्ट्रीयल स्मार्ट सिटी है, जो सिंगापुर जैसे देश के विकसित क्षेत्र से भी बड़ा है।
